1000 origami cranes

My origami project started off as a 365-days project, in the form of a public, yet personal journal, and as a result of a “quarter-life crisis”. However, it has now become more than that: it is part of my everyday, a creative ritual and an outlet for my creativity.

I fold one paper crane each day, and I use it as a blank canvas to describe the way my day is going, what and who inspires me, ideas and hopes, but also regrets and things that upset me.

I plan to fold and decorate 1000 paper cranes and hope to continue interpreting the world around me with the help of paper, colours, texture and light.#290 #344 #365 #375 #384 #388
