“Art has always been a part of my life. I come from a small town in Mexico, Jalacingo, from the state of Veracruz.
While growing up, my mother worked in tourism. This afforded our family the opportunity to travel the country. Mexico is a diverse country, rich with many cultures. I have enjoyed the experience of many cultures and their societies.
My work is inspired by the many people I’ve encountered during my life. Some of these faces are repressed from childhood and others from vivid emotional experiences and memories.
I moved to the U.S. in 1993 to continue my studies in Graphic Design and Fine Arts. Since graduation, I have continued to work in the field with such local iconic companies as the Orlando Weekly and TransContinental Records, home of the Backstreet Boys.
In spite of being a designer by craft, my fine art background has been a compliment to my work and outlet for my creative inner spirit.”
