Arthur-Louis Ignoré is an urban artist from France.
He explores the motif through ornaments and mandala. The creative process takes an important place in his work. As one could see it in jazz improvisation, the artist uses structure allowing his subconscious and randomness to take over.
Most of the time, the artist paints in the street with limited means. Usually, he does not use any beforehand sketches and any other tools than a paintbrush and squeezer. This spontaneous but meticulous work enhances the act of painting by creating, with the ornament’s assemblage, the melody of a place at one given moment.
