The painting has a profound message to transmit. Barcode represents the human transformation from one of a free soul with individuality, into a coded existence, where people have become a homogenized numbered entity. There is an urge to break free but… forever they are trapped! Andreas C Chrysafis

The painting depicts the human spirit, which may well be exuberantly reaching into the light or is simply lost for answers in a world, where nobody hears the reverberating cries of others no matter how loud they become! Andreas C Chrysafis

The harmony and beauty of doors stimulates one’s imagination! Are doors meant to keep people in or to keep people out? One can ponder forever! DOORS signify the respect of space and individuality and yet, they also represent openness and the freedom to allow others inside and share that space: for man is not meant to live alone but to share! Andreas C Chrysafis

Throughout the world mystical forests and groves were important mythological protective cult landscapes where people found spiritual solace and peace. “SACRED GROVE” displays strong paintbrush strokes in green hues. The man sleeping peacefully he’s not alone but watched over by spirits of the past, which prescribe that forests are forever evolving and yet forever remain the same. Andreas C Chrysafis
