MARTA SIECZAK is an young Polish artist who has spend one year in Indonesia. That’s me! I’ve created a series of quite huge paintings (100 x 200 cm each), inspired by Indonesian landscapes. Let’s have a look into them!
A bit surrealistic paintings show various spaces, in which people are looking for their own place. Combinations of bright colors and harmonic compositions will bring you to the specific world, at the edge of real and unreal.
The paintings were created in traditional Indonesian, though they present a different approach to batik – while the technique is traditional, the look and function is far from tradition.
