A work of art that is a crossover between painting and sculpture, this art piece is a 3D portrait of Bob Marley rendered in screws that are painted in acrylic.
Laid out in wood that is painted in off-white, the 3d artwork stands three feet wide and three feet high. The artwork is made up of seven thousand two hundred and twenty five screws (7225), each screw pre-painted with Rastafarian inspired colors, and then drilled to the wood in strategic height and positions to simulate the portrait’s perspective. A unique work of art, this material is art and engineering combined.
