Abandoned places are fascinating. They remind us that we will vanish too one day.
Sometimes it’s all dark inside and it’s not easy to take an interesting picture, so when I find a room that is worth the look I take a long exposure shot and I make some lightpainting. It’s quite fun and the result is pleasant.
However it requires to be patient, because the first picture is rarely the good one. After each one I check how it looks and I notice what is good and what must be different for the next shot. Most of the time the shutter speed is at least of 30s, so it’s important to pay attention to each move we do.
Usually I have a friend with me, it’s more fun and secured.
