Form of whales as mimicked by Kujira Carbon Steel knives
Creating animal figurines from metal, stone, clay and many more materials is an art form as old as human civilization, but every now and then there is something new which brings the whole concept to new frontiers. Creating knives in animal shapes is something like that.
Designed in the form of 5 different whales by Japanese blacksmith Toru Yamashita, these sharp bladed carbon knives bring steel to a whole different use. Although, kujira blade was first made to be played with children as a toy, it was later given a more purposeful use for utility tasks.
