Alexandru Savescu is a young and diligent illustrator
who graduated a BA (Hons) Illustration and Graphic Design degree course with a first class honors degree and international enhancement from Coventry University in 2015. Alexandru continues to work as a freelance artist across a range of areas including publishing, editorial, advertising and personally driven projects, seeking for the most adequate solutions of visual problems through extensive array of illustration techniques and methods.
“THE BIRDS” I always found The Birds quite unsettling. It’s not a typical horror film, it doesn’t scare the hell out of you for a period of two hours. What it does, actually, it kind of gives you goosebumps every time you find yourself surrounded by pigeons in the city square…
HATCHING IDEAS “This is the first illustration done with my new Wacom tablet. The idea behind this illustration is the act of procrastination, idea which obviously came to me while procrastinating”.
I have been using traditional mediums in my work recently so I came up with this small exercise to get a bit out
