I am a Lithuanian artist, creating in a wide range of artistic forms, such as illustrations, drawings, paintings, jewelry, stained glass and so on.
In my artworks I tend to explore the inner aspects of human life put against the backdrop of the everyday. Living in an animal farm deep within the Lithuanian countryside, surrounded by velvet lakes and untamed woods, I draw my inspiration from nature, the local folktales and the fantasies they arouse. I graduated from the National School of Art and in 2008 I was awarded the Master of Arts by Vilnius Academy of Arts in Lithuania. The artworks are in private collections in USA, United Kingdom, Thailand, France and other countries. In my mixed media watercolor paintings I use India ink, felt pens, ball point pens and many other materials that helps me to reach the effect that I want to get. I like bright colors, which attracts an eye and turn faces of viewers to it. What a vivid colors – they say. Yes, colors are the most important spices of art. And the most important spices of life too.
