In the mediation between the intelligible and the visible of the real, parameters are provided to enable the observer to realize that what representation offers is an absence of reality, an allegory of death, an evidence of absence. Seen from the mythological standpoint, the presonified icon is clearly shown as the best example of simulation. We conceive, by pedagógical assimilation, that certain iconographic entities exist when they are merely a product of a collective imagination that has given them form.
The intention is to update classical culture, bringing it in line with the logic and the reason of our time. The beings portrayed in the paintings cease to be heavenly to become earthly. Worldly subjects are the heroes of stories based on classical mythology according to the way we interpret and decode our reality.
