Life is a Flow-South East Asia

SouthEast Asia by ALESSANDRA GUIDETTI

Life is a flow, soft and firm, in which every human being accepts his faith and follows, patient, its course.
The anxiety and discomfort of not finding it’s own place in the world that characterize today’s Western culture, here give way to a deeper awareness of life and a disarming honesty to oneself.

Indocina is the story of a journey in the Indochinese Peninsula, a large region on the

border between India and China.

Historically a crossing point of many people, Indochina is one of the most complex

and varied cultural environment on the Earth.

The tangled social and cultural contest is based on a simple and perfect mechanism.

In Asia everything is blended and mixed together according to very well-defined

paths and rules.  Life is a flow, soft and firm, in which every human being accepts his faith and follows, patient, its course.

The anxiety and discomfort of not finding it’s own place in the world that characterize

today’s Western culture, here give way to a deeper awareness of life and a disarming

honesty to oneself.

This makes this land so fascinating for me.

What I carry with me leaving South East Asia is an intimate tale, made up of individual

shots, each of which is driven by clear and intense emotion, a fleeting feeling, but

persistent.

Unexpected situations, even if only for a moment, make me feel part of the same story
