LIFE ON PAPER – Irene M. Gironacci
Artist Statement:
The goal of these works is to show how life can live forever on paper. Time goes by, but art is the only way to give a life to objects, though the emotions of people that are looking at these drawings. Art is alive everytime someone are feeling something strong and unique, and this is what makes art so special.
Biography:
Irene M. Gironacci is an artist that works in the field of visual and multimedia arts.
She is constantly searching for new ways to create links and armony between shapes and colors, reality and visions, reasoning and imagination, science and art: a creative patch that constantly evolves.
She received an high-school diploma in Industrial Design at Art Institute of Fermo (Italy). In this period she received a scholarship to study in Dublin (Ireland) for one month, and an art stage at Rome (Italy) that offers her the opportunity to exhibit some of her artworks.
She graduated in Software Engineering (BSc) at University of Parma (Italy) with a thesis in computer graphics and virtual reality (Title:”modeling and development of a virtual environment in Unity3D”). In this period she received some publications at the offical Rhinocero’s website (Rhinoceros is a 3D modeling software) and a scholarship for an advanced computer graphics course at Cineca (MIUR), in Italy.
She is graduating in Software Engineering (MSc) at University of Parma (Italy) with a thesis in augmented reality (Interactive Augmented Reality Applications).
Her interests are: drawing, painting, videogames, augmented reality, photo manipulation, photography, virtual environments, 3D modeling, computer graphics.
