Living myself in its true form, with the rhythm of life in its true form.
Born in 1958 in Singapore and is an Eurasian, descendant of Chinese, English and Portuguese ancestors. She lived in Holland, Belgium and France where nine years of courses in clay techniques, sculpture in clay and stone, restoration and gilding followed. She moved to Bali where her desire to express herself organically led her to acquire yet another skill, silver-smiting. A new form of art appeared, sculptural jewellery!
Living in Bali, Jeane became editor of magazines, doing her own photography and writing. Through the lens, she exploited the scenery and energy of Bali and Indonesia. That was the beginning of this series of works of painted photos inspired by a modern performance called Mepantigan, a “war” in mud and blessing of the rice harvests…
Jeane now resides in Burgundy, France, where she runs a B & B in a chateau. www.jeaneseah.com , www.info @chateaudeburnand.net
