Molotow Time Project

This a project on time and raw materials consumption, made recycling all wastes coming from my ten-year graffiti experience.

It’s all about residual materials after a wall painting, that are more durable than the painture on the wall and can be thought as the real essence of graffiti work.
It’s the means that becomes meaning.

The real dimensions of one cubic meter box. It's made of steel and covered with spray cans carved and unrolled, and fixed with steel wire. The box is filled with more than 5.000 spray cans, handly pressed, and coming from 10 years of graffiti. This box represents the garbage volume of 10 years of graffiti production. It's a reflection about materials consumption.

This book is made with all labels coming from spray cans consumed during one year of graffiti (2013). It's a timeline of that year marked through the colors that were used to paint walls.

This is an evolving project, made with all the mixing balls contained in all spray cans consumed in 10 years of graffiti. It represents the deepest essence of wall painting, the only things that will remains after time have wasted colors and walls.
