VAISHALI RASTOGI SAHNI (born in 1988, INDIA) is a self taught artist who has been working over the past few years with paper as the primary medium for her art pieces. After graduating in commerce and whilst pursuing Chartered Accountancy, Vaishali realized that she wasn’t interested in pursuing an accounting practice as a life career, because she was more interested in handmade art and craft.

During the course of her interest in handicrafts, she found out that she has the skills, patience and hard work to make intricately designed sculptures completely out of paper by a technique called Quilling.

Vaishali loves to play with colors. She likes to use bright colors in her creations because she feels that they play an important role in one’s life and that they are a reflection of one’s inner self. The happier you are, the brighter color you choose. Vaishali tries to give a divine touch to her every creation.
