People in a new surrounding |Dorus Verwiel
A set of five designs based on the work of Romenian Photographer Costicã Acsinte. His archive is public domain. Photographs edited in Adobe Photoshop, aditional editing in Adobe Illustrator.
I have supplemented the photos with illustrations from public domain scientific books and thus created a new environment. the black-and-white photos of those portrayed have been re-colored. The Acsinte archive is particularly extensive and a source of inspiration. Realising that the people portrayed have now all died probably makes it special to use them as a kind of tribute.
