Photographer Talaina Fisher creates photographs that delve into the enigmatic feelings and emotions every person experiences within their themselves.
She strives to depict what can be felt but not explained, to create a connection with someone through the collective consciousness that is buried under layers and layers of mundane living. “It is so easy to connect on an artificial level; in this age of technology we are constantly in contact with one another. But when a connection goes deeper than that, when it resounds within us it awakens a small fragment of ourselves that we never knew existed. I want my art to make those connections.”
Talaina grew up in rural Arizona and is now studying at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. You can see more of her work at talainafisher.tumblr.com
