Ralph White fusionart

Ralph White is an abstract artist who brings a lifetime of transformational thinking into his work.

A highly successful executive business coach, Ralph has worked with thousands of clients to uncover new possibilities for their companies. He brings this same philosophy into his modern painting, expressing the soul’s ability to evolve. His paintings reflect his constant pursuit of enlightenment and his openness to intuitive response. One of the premier creators of spiritual and mystic art in Los Angeles, Ralph is a painter who is inspired by the power of intention. A believer in the artist’s ability to create a dialog through each image, he is continually intrigued by the convergence of the art and the observer. Through his work, Ralph persistently forges the opportunity to achieve personal breakthrough and reaction to the spirit and soul.

Some of the greatest ideas come to us in the middle of the night, as we’re tossing and turning, hoping to get a few hours of precious sleep.  But that rush of adrenaline kicks in… Sometimes it’s an idea for an invention or a concept for business venture. Maybe it’s a vision for an art piece or a set of lyrics for that song you’ve been trying to write. Ideas are what promote us and give us courage. They catapult our dreams.  This painting is the discovery of those late-night butterflies of hope and ambition.  Each color represents all the waking hours of contemplating our zealous ideas and revelations.  Being able to fall asleep in peace with the birth of an idea is the foundation of how this world rotates.

With each new painting there are levels of vision imagined.  Sometimes it starts out as splash of paint on the canvas with hopes of a whimsical offering to the art gods.  Some days the paint brush is on fire and the paint is the kindling, with strokes of liberation and ease.  Other days there’s hesitation and broken contours as nothing seems to make sense.  This painting is called Chasm as it reveals the depths of an unpredictable vision.  The paint appears to move from side to side, flowing with ease, and yet there are canyons obstructing the view of simplicity.  These undulating engagements are expressions of art in its finest form.

Every artist goes through spiritless seasons. When the world looks a little hazy and inspiration is hard to find. Rejection letters and hopeless attempts at new material are disheartening. The wind just doesn’t blow in the right direction and it is easy to feel discouraged.  This painting Brushfire is the emergence from a melancholy spell. As a small soul-fire is lit up, the moon moves into optimal position and the stars align. Dreams of glowing lava and turquoise dragons reveal an awakening. Colors look more vibrant and the glossy sunshine against a display of floral excellence unearths a new muse.

Wishing to be successful and working hard to achieve success are two different things. It takes time, commitment and patience to achieve anything worthwhile in this life. However, the wish, desire or dream is a great place to start.  This painting is the formation of our wishes. Wishing and dreaming are the beginning of something greater. The escape of colors out of the blackness in this painting reveals our inner desire to attain success. The spouts of red symbolize energy and passion. The small spray of yellow in the middle symbolizes hope and happiness. And the white and gray symbolize sophistication. This is the perfect formula in reaching our potential for greatness.
