Realistic Portraits by Jennifer Healy

I create because it’s what I’ve been doing since a little girl. Art can save when one has less than an ideal childhood.

I still create today because I want to be able to give that same inspiration to another who may have nothing else to escape with. There has been a passion for art all my life and I continue with it till this day.

My art is a mixture of “good” and some “evil” undertones. This is how I view the world around me. There is no complete good and it’s not completely evil either. Where there is one, there is the other. This is how it will always be.

My primary tools are colored pencils and I often paint digitally with a pen tablet. I started my digital paintings in May of 2009. I started my love for colored pencils in Jan of 2013. Before then I was a graphite artist and dabble a little in watercolors.
