Mixed media – projection/acetate
My artwork is created using projected light and imagery to formulate immersive installations inspired by her own personal themes that are translated into written narratives, fragments of stories and development of characters that influence my practice.
My practice involves creating installations and photography that explores the idea of a narrative/the poetic and a personal world that can engage with the viewers through imagery and elements of performance.
The use of acetate layering in my practice is a dominant medium, the use of layering works to create images for projection as well as working in the levels of narrative and depth of emotion to the pieces.
Interests such as Phenomenology, and the Unconscious are a contributing influence to my practice – working to create pieces that express depth and emotion but that can be universally interpreted
