Sand Paintings and the time lapse by Joe Mangrum
Working with sand is as easy or tough as building castles in air. Time-lapse and sand work coming together in these sand paintings
8 temporary sand paintings over a period of 11 days, this is what artist Joe Mangrum (previously) did Zuidlaren, Netherlands, while working for Doe Museum . Mangrum’s paintings are spontaneous creation through a grueling physical process involving dozens of revolutions around the artwork. he does that all by just pouring in sand, sand with lots of colors. All his work was turned into time-lapse videos, just three of which are added here. see more of his work on Facebook.
