The series is a photography set of self portraits of Natalia Raben, as known as Rabson.
The series has a purpose of presenting that quite often a person has various ‘faces’ resulting from different emotions. However, there is no one ‘face’ as a result of one emotion. A ‘face’ is a product of complex feelings and their motion. I have tried to show the connection of those two by using a long time or double exposure which shows the movement of the emotions, sometimes representing two of those mentioned ‘faces’. I have taken these self portraits mostly in a time when I was looking for the answers about myself. However, sometimes the feelings are so undefined that some part of the ‘face’ is missing or rather unreadable for the person feeling it and therefore for the audience.
