When you grow up with no computer, just your child imagination, the most inspiring thing for you is the world around. A world that you can transform inside your mind. Everything you read is refracted through your creative unconventional children mind.
When I was a kid I used to like reading about mythology and fairy-tails from all corners of the world. I guess that is what influenced my art the most. I started drawing strange creatures that I was reading about. I imagined how would they look like and how would they fit in our world. Eventually I started imaging how would animals fit in our human life. What would they be if they were an ordinary part of our life. How different and yet similar to us they would be. the idea behind my art is unite the difference between humans and nature and how they can become one single thing.
I use mostly ink and watercolors. I get inspired by everyday simple life. I observe people around my and imagine how would they look like if they were animals. Strangely, but people have a lot common features with animals and almost immediately you can recognize certain animal when looking at somebody.
