In Soumana’s words: Photography is the language of nostalgia.

In Soumana’s words: Photography is the language of nostalgia.

Her day-to-day job is in hotels but being so passionate about photography, she bought a camera in 2011 to practice her long aspired love to her passion.

For the next 3 years, she spent time shooting till she fell in love with the conceptual work of famous artists.

Influenced by creating stories, photography to her is more than a passion but a reflection of words, dreams, fears, romance and the mirror of the imagination where the secrets are exposed and the fantasies are reality.

Her personal impression of the photos is linked to association of words and quotes. This is featured in her face book page: www.facebook.com/soumanaammarphotography and soon on www.soumanaammar.com.

Soumana is a strong believer of an inspired life. She believes that creativity can touch other people’s lives and who of us hasn’t fallen in Iove with a Disney character we watched or imagined the fairy tale we once read!

Her advice is: “Whatever inspires you, build on that inspiration. Do what you love to do and what fascinates your heart. Unleash your talent. Be dedicated and experiment. Don’t dwell into successes or failures. It’s all a step forward. Reflect passion in the life of others and enjoy your creative journey.”

In Soumana’s words: Photography is the language of nostalgia.

“So it’s

Into the woods
You go again,
You have to
Every now and then.
Into the woods,
No telling when,
Be ready for the journey.

Into the woods,
But not too fast
Or what you wish
You lose at last.

Into the woods, but mind the past.
Into the woods, but mind the future.
Into the woods, but not to stray,
Or tempt the Wolf or steal from the Giant-”

“The secret is not to make your music louder, but to make the world quieter.” ― Mitch Albom

Into the woods
Dreams are funny…Sometimes you’ve gotta run into the woods to really find them.

“She is free in her wildness, she is a wanderess, a drop of free water. She knows nothing of borders and cares nothing for rules or customs. ‘Time’ for her isn’t something to fight against. Her life flows clean, with passion, like fresh water.” ― Roman Payne

“Sometimes the most beautiful people are beautifully broken.” ― Robert M. Drake
