I did get hooked to summer mornings over 10 years ago. Back then I did find quite small marshland.
That morning with mist and light from rising sun were so amazing, that I did start immediately call it a “Paradise”. Recipe for perfect morning is quite cold, cloudless night and of course calm and cloudless morning. If those fit together well, there is good change that mist will appear and then, when sun rises… views can really be amazing.
But of course there are lot of variables. Wind may blow mist away or there may be too much mist. Clouds may fill the sky just before sunrise and so on… So after 10+ years I could say that in ordinary summer there is maybe 5-20 “good enough to even try” mornings, and from those maybe 0-5 will be something that I could call as perfect.
Sounds pure madness and so it is, but when you catch that perfect morning… for me it is worth of it, those visions can be so unbelievable. So there’s a reason why I keep hunting for perfect morning year after year. Not only in my Paradise, but in other places too.
