The Microbes on the Handprint
This petri dish impression made by Tasha Sturm of Cabrillo College, clearly delineates the mixture of microscopic organisms found on her 8-year-old child’s hand in the wake of playing outside. The print itself speaks to a few days of development as diverse yeasts, growths, and microscopic organisms are permitted to hatch.
It’s sheltered to say practically all that you see developing in this example is safe and by and large even advantageous to a man’s safety, yet it just goes to show why we some of the time it’s great to wash our hands. Sturm talks about in subtle element how she made the print in the remarks of this page.
