The mystery of the human loneliness | Mauro Massari

The mystery of the human loneliness | Mauro Massari.

Mauro Massari was born at Castel Goffredo,  Mantova province in 1954. Driven by the great passion for arts inherited from his father Angelo, an architect, he dedicates himself to the painting, being struck by the powerful surrealist message, so dear to him.

His particular language is interwoven with sheer yet awesome illusions, as a sermon evoking deep echoes.

From painting to painting we collapse more and more into the mystery of the human loneliness, but harder is the latent truth, more beautiful are the colours adorning us, looking at the extraordinary sceneries where the greatness of the vision fascinates the eyes with the exquisite truth of the paints.

I have always found it difficult to explain why we are attracted to particular paintings.

Perhaps between the painting and ourselves there are some secret affinities that are shaped without obvious awareness, almost hiding and yet revealing the allure of time. How is it that the artist can communicate with us to reach these most hidden places of our spirit, mind and heart?

In front of Massari’s paintings, more than once, I ask of myself how is it that he can express with such delicacy the disquiet many of us feel facing our current world.
