Unraveling Ceramic Sculptures

Cermaic sculpturing is a tough preposition and very few would excel in this genre, but that did not put off this artist. Ceramicist Haejin Lee makes sculptures that would seem to unravel before your eyes. They simply open and splay to make faces more interesting. With minimal use of color Lee focuses on shapeshifting creations, incorporating human elements like mouths and eyes that seem like displaying chaos.

The artist from South Korean worked in Korea for 10 years before moving over to Vancouver just a few years back. You can see more of her works from her Canadian studio on her Instagram.
