Green meadows: there childhood runs free. Game, visions, fantasy places, dreams.
Then gradually everything comes back to reality: awareness, secrets; loneliness. Emotions become human, real. There’s the description of the naked truth. It’s cancellation, regression: returning to basics. Ineradicable roots.
Uproot is a project made in 2015 by the Italian artist Tanio Liotta (25 yo from Milan), already famous for his bow-ties, homage to his childhood spent in his grandfather’s tailor shop. He uses them as a canvas, building their shape with different techniques and materials. He works on them in order to create small installations in which recreate imaginary worlds taken out from everyday stories, memories and life emotions.
