Wonderland by Frieda Carol

    Frieda Carol is the pen name of Yu-Wei, Liang, an Taiwanese illustrator. She was born at Puli, Nantou, and moved to Tali, Taichung when she was  8 years old. She studied university in Taipei, and now she works in Taichung. She lives in three major cities in Taiwan in her lifetime, and the experience living in cities enhances her view about illustration.

She learns painting all by herself, still, she has learned watercolor painting for three months. Although she doesn’t study any art schools, Frieda Carol still paint everday, and the subject contains fashion, natural scene, imaginary tales, music, pop art, children illustration, comic strips, etc. Her illustrations are published by Suncolor Ltd., Taiwan in “Illustration & design market 306, 2007”, and in the past, her illustration was made into flg, or published on the newspaper, or got several awards. Frieda Carol still join different kind of cometitions.

Zojirushi Taiwan Corporation. MY BOTTLE design, Halloween & Christmas festival design selected.

Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation, the 4th Sunshine public welfare award, pictures creation selected.

Sunshine Walfare Awards, pictures creation part the first plaze.
